The article presented her describes the differences between nature and nurture, supporting the nurture side of the debate with statistics. This site compares false beliefs with statistics and further depictions of the topic itself.
This source is credible because we have multiple authors working together to compile statistics which make up a true argument.The authors work for the U.S. department of economics and statistics, so we know the data received is reliable.
I will use this source to further my argument in stating the facts, and then using the information from this website, I will address the counterargument and explain why the logic underlying in the opposing argument is faulty.

The argument is based upon a debate which would be nature vs nurture. This argument basically embodies whether or not people are influenced by their biological happenings, or rather influenced by the environment around them. The support for the “nature” side of the debate is from a psychologist and author Jordan Peterson. The nurture part of the debate is supported by Sophie Walker, leader of the Women’s Equality Party. Data collection was achieved through various universities, and psychological associations such as “The American Psychological Association”.
This source is reliable because the two individuals mainly arguing the “women in STEM” concept are highly educated from multiple perspectives. These individuals also cite studies from educational researchers which help strengthen their credibility, and the argument itself.
I will use this source to strengthen my perspectives on the issue. By using a credible source, my opinions are validated by factual evidence which allows my argument to be composed of truthful facts. When explaining the debate, I will use this source to guide my claims to relate to the statistics that have been pulled from previous studies.

In this article, we have the basic facts about what STEM is and the occupations it embodies. The composers of this article go on to explain who makes up the majority of STEM employees, the implications of the data, backed up by statistics, then finally analyzes the data which allows the reader to gain perspective about the topic.
This source is reliable because the information stems from studies performed by a university. This evidence is then backed up with broad statistics about womens implications with jobs, the STEM field, and discrimination in general. By addressing the broader range of statistics related to the topic, the argument is more credible since outside sources were referenced.
I will use this source to guide my audience through my claim, evidence, and warrants, so the argument I make will help people to better understand the topic itself. By calling upon other resources, my argument contains logos and ethos, which are two primary forms of rhetoric to compose a successful side or an argument.
